Widows Peak - 7'43" 5. Intelligence Quotient - 8'07" 6. Wiggle - 0'56" CD2 - 28'08" 1. The Enemy Smacks - 16'13" 2. The Glenn Miller Medley - 6'29" 3. Sweet Transvestite 5'26" Comments This is a direct transfer from 20 year old master recording on a good old TDK AD120. Noise reduction was not used in the intial recording thus, given the quality of the tape, tape hiss is still present, but not overly so. The transfer was from tape deck (Aiwa AD-F800) to Audio CD recorder, then EAC to WAV to NERO 6.0 to FLAC. This is a good audience recording which I'd rate as B+. The title reflects that this was the last gig with Brian Drey operating the lighting rig. He was replaced by Lol Dyer. A fab gig in my view with the band on great form - lots of banter and verbal abuse - and something a bit special! The set was shorter than normal. Whilst set out on 2 CDR's the whole show will fit on one CDR-80 if desired! Widows Peak had now been fully developed and was fundamentally as would be recorded on The Wake. This show was the first to feature two "special encores" - first the rawkus "Glenn f@%$ing Miller medley" as announced by Mike (despite a false start!) and then the TV'd up Pete as Dr FrankNFurter from Rocky Horror - I'm still not sure how he squeezed himself in!!
