Collected Underground is a trading group - sanctioned by the band - which exists for IQ fans from all over the world to distribute live shows (both CD and DVD) to each other.
Our members are all over the world from places such as Reading to Rhode Island, Ontario to Oldham and Wellingborough to Wellington. There are IQ fans everywhere!
The group exists for our members to enjoy the music of IQ for free.
We do not sell anything and do not charge for membership. You do not have to own any shows to start with in order to join - we gratefully accept any contributions but you don't need to own stuff already.
All shows are donated either by our members, from our own collections or, even better, by the band themselves.
All we ask of you is that you join in the same spirit.......... you get stuff for free and you offer it in the same way.
If you join, you ask for shows, pass them to another member on when you have copied them and you don't (ever) sell them..... to anyone, anywhere, anytime...... your friend, an internet sale, ebay or whatever. That's not much to ask in return for hundreds of live shows which we make available to you!
The shows work on a vine basis : new releases are started by the moderators and then passed round, via standard snail-mail post, to other members. There are more details on the 'How....' page.

CU was founded in 2004 by Allison, and is now run and moderated by:
Allison (based in the United States), Malc (based in England) and Randy (based in Canada).
If you are interested in joining, go to the 'How....' page, and please also take a look at the 'Rules and regs' page for a brief summary of the dos and donts of CU.
